At Textiles Patlin, we regularly undertake custom curtain creation projects for hotels<\/a>. We typically get involved in renovations, makeovers, or, as in this case, during the construction of a brand-new hotel establishment. Indeed, over the past few months, we have had the privilege of contributing to the Art de Vivre project, which led us to participate in the design of the rooms at Hotel HoneyRose Montreal.<\/p>

The Art de Vivre Project at a Glance<\/h2>

The Art de Vivre project is, in fact, a major construction project of a complex bearing the same name. Located in the heart of Montreal’s Quartier des spectacles, this mixed-use building of over 35 stories houses rental apartments, a swimming pool, a gym, as well as a boutique hotel: the HoneyRose<\/a>.<\/p>

Our Mission: Creating Sheers and Curtains That Reflect the Hotel’s Art Deco Style<\/h2>

On the HoneyRose Hotel’s website, it reads: ” Step into HONEYROSE Montreal and travel back in time with our vintage design inspired by Art Deco, a testament to a bygone, yet timeless era.<\/em> “It was with the goal of evoking this style, born in the 1910s, that we approached this project of custom-made sheers and curtains.<\/p>

Indeed, nothing was left to chance in order to align with the theme. We paid special attention to the fabrics<\/a>, colors, and textures of the draperies to fully respect the desired look.<\/p>

We even carefully selected the tracks on which the sheers and curtains are installed!<\/p>

Custom-made Curtains as “Privacy Barriers”<\/h2>

While the primary function of sheers and curtains is to filter light entering a space or to completely block it out (blackout curtains<\/a>), they can also serve as “privacy barriers.”<\/p>

Thus, the designers behind the room decor at HoneyRose did not hesitate to entrust us with the creation of curtains that act as partitions for the bathroom.<\/p>
